When developing the concept for Mr. Pimenta’s apartment, we focused on the integration of spaces and how this could enhance his daily routine. The fluidity of the environments was achieved thanks to the generous floor plan, resulting in an inviting atmosphere throughout the apartment.

Some materials were carefully chosen to elevate the interior design, such as Silver Gray satin granite for the flooring and a boomerang-shaped kitchen island, as well as tiles on the ceiling from COLÊ – Azulejo com Arte, which brought the artistic touch we wanted to infuse into the project.

We reflected this multifunctionality in the design by including a wine/bar area integrated into the living room, allowing the client to explore his hobbies of preparing drinks and entertaining guests. Moments of relaxation and leisure were key to the design. In Apartment Pimenta, fluidity is evident in the interiors, such as the mirrored surface that creates the illusion of a passage between spaces.

The color palette of whites, wood tones, and grays is enhanced with warmer accents through elements like ceiling tiles, the leather sofa, and wall art.
The result is a modern, bright, and cozy living room.

Mr. Pimenta, a technology enthusiast, values solutions that simplify his routines. This trend, when used wisely, creates sophisticated and minimalist spaces. We embodied this perspective in the project with modern equipment, such as a concealed sink integrated into the kitchen counter, which creates more workspace and visual clarity in the open-plan living area.

The downdraft range hood, installed near the cooktop, is designed to extract steam and odors during cooking. This equipment, built into the countertop, remains hidden when not in use, ensuring a minimalist aesthetic. Open, flexible spaces are a hallmark of contemporary apartment design.
To cater to ever-changing needs, multifunctional spaces and creative storage solutions ensure the decor moves beyond conventional ideas.

One standout feature is the large boomerang-shaped island, designed to serve multiple purposes and perform various functions. In the kitchen, the neutral palette harmonizes with the lighting, creating a relaxed and intimate environment.

 

The use of Silver Gray granite for the floor and countertops, combined with custom cabinetry, creates a welcoming atmosphere and introduces an innovative approach to traditional kitchen design. A golden tip: combining light and ebonized woods in the space creates an attractive contrast. A beautifully designed kitchen is essential not only for functionality but also for the time spent with family, whether cooking, eating, or working.

In Apartment Pimenta’s kitchen, we incorporated these ideas into a design that prioritizes practicality and elegance. The use of graphite tones in the cabinetry brings sophistication and depth, creating a serene and introspective ambiance.

The graphite color in the custom cabinetry extends to the bedroom, creating a cozy retreat perfect for relaxation. Intelligent lighting, including tensioned screens and neon strips embedded in the joinery, allows the user to adjust light intensity and color for different moments. This flexibility enables a poetic and sensory experience, enhancing the apartment’s comfort and atmosphere.

In the bathroom, Mr. Pimenta wanted a space that was both comfortable and rejuvenating. A harmonious mix of gray, white, and black tones creates a timeless sense of sophistication. The granite sink countertop adds a durable, refined touch, while the organic-shaped mirror provides artistic and unique aesthetics, reflecting originality and personality.

We concluded the presentation of Apartment Pimenta by highlighting the connection we established between the leisure area, dining room, and living room. Key elements include the shelf spanning the main façade of the building, covering the large windows while allowing natural light to gently filter through its compartments. These are filled with objects that tell the resident’s story, adding personality and vitality to the space.

In the living room, we refurbished the sofa with natural leather, creating a luxurious place to relax. In the dining room, the Jaqueline table by Leo Romano, paired with ebonized "chuvas" chairs, sets the stage for delightful meals and lively gatherings.
Here, dining becomes a true celebration of moments spent together.
