What is it like to live "hyperconnected"? To see the world through screens that fire off one piece of information after another, faster than we can often process? What is it like to witness time and space seemingly detached from our bodily reality, from our restless selves?

At what point did the children we once were—eager to roll on the ground, run freely through open spaces, and connect with our bodies and others through movement—become adults consumed by devouring blue lights? We've grown accustomed to a framed view, confined within our homes and our lives.

Year: 2022

How can the exuberance of life return and pierce through our gaze?

Have you ever looked beyond the screens and immersed yourself in the body-architecture and body-space relationship?

Have you appreciated the magic and art expressed through the movement available to us?

We, Rodrigo Ferreira and Isabella Tonelli, invite you to our exhibition/immersion at Casa Cor Goiás 2022: “Café Teatro.”

A space that invites you to look away from the screens of phones and televisions and dive into the proposed body-architecture and body-space.

The appreciation and experience of multiple stimuli—visual, structural, auditory, danced, and savored—awaken our senses through immersion. It’s about seeing the magic that surrounds us, waiting for us to embrace it. A space for connection—with ourselves, others, art, color, and form—where the boldness and charm of being present in our body-spaces and diverse pluralities take root in our lives.

With minimalist influences, Café Teatro was designed in pastel tones, where scenic lighting added color and intensity to the space during performances. The furniture by Tidelli Outdoor Living and the exclusive design of tables, benches, walls, and ceilings evoked a sense of playfulness. Signature pieces by artist Marcus Camargo brought life and personality to the space. A cabinet piano, part of the collection of our client Elizabeth Ribeiro, became the centerpiece of the stage, alongside the Wunda Chair (a Pilates chair from the collection of Adriano Bittar) and the Centipede Benches by our dear friend Isabela Moody.

The tea ritual from Alice in Wonderland inspired our highly sought-after balcony seating.

Small details enriched the space, such as Valentim, the puppet by Duda Paiva Company, and our custom top hat crafted by visual artist Ieda Jardim. The Café Teatro façade unveiled a world full of characters that changed form each week—a unique experience exclusive to Casa Cor Goiás 2022.

Our participation needed to make a difference.

The essence of Café Teatro was to invite everyone to a connection between architecture and body — a connection that inspires, welcomes, and evokes emotions. This is why music, dance, theater, and art brought so much beauty and sentiment to our space.

Visitors enjoyed the sounds of pianist Eliel Carlos dos Santos, reliving the 2022 season of the event. The magic of theater also graced the stage with the colors and originality of Cia de Teatro Nu Escuro, offering a performance that blended fiction, animation, a touch of lambe-lambe theater, and storytelling.

To make it unforgettable, Giovanna di Paula brought irreverence to the stage with the Queens Show musical. Architecture and body: through the music of pianist Claudia Gomes and the contemporary dance of Lunna Gomes, we showcased the artistic power of music and dance, materialized through the talents of mother and daughter.

We were also delighted by the performance of dancer and professor Larissa Elias, who presented a variety of movements, inviting reflection on musicality and cultural diversity through dance as a form of expression.
